ODINOS / LEGAL Software Licence & Terms of Use Clear terms for your self-hosted Core or Forge installation. Version 1.0 · Published 4 November 2026 · Core and Forge These general terms describe the licence for OdinOS software. Keep a copy with any confirmed paid offer. A purchase request on this website is an enquiry, not a chargeable order. 1. Scope and licence OdinOS Core and OdinOS Forge are separate self-hosted software products, each with its own controller, workers, licence keys and update channel. Subject to the applicable licence, you receive a non-exclusive right to use the supplied software for personal or business purposes on hardware you own or are authorised to manage. A paid licence covers one customer and one active controller of the specified product. Your authorised staff may operate it for you. Inactive backup copies are permitted. Moving an installation does not authorise concurrent controllers using a copied identity; preserve the identity or arrange a licence rebind when replacing it. 2. Community and paid plans How licensed capacity is counted Product | Community | Paid plans Core | Two CPU workers. | The worker allowance in the confirmed plan. Forge | Two GPU workers, with unlimited cards on those workers. | Every detected GPU uses a seat, including cards on the first two workers. CPU mining consumes no additional GPU seat. Community is a free edition without a trial expiry. Core and Forge licences cannot activate one another. Forge Community worker slots and paid GPU seats have separate seven-day release cooldowns after removal. Unlimited capacity removes the relevant numerical cap; it does not include additional controllers, lifetime updates or personal support unless expressly granted. Custom, legacy and complimentary rights expressly granted in a valid entitlement or confirmed offer remain applicable. 3. Updates and support Annual updates provide access to official signed releases for the confirmed 12-month period. Renewal is optional; the current purchase process has no automatic recurring charge. One-time lifetime updates cover releases made generally available during the commercial life of the purchased product. They do not include other products, perpetual hosting or unlimited personal support. Expiry of a commercial update period alone does not stop the installed controller or miners or remove the right to use eligible installed versions within the licensed capacity. These options do not limit updates or remedies required by law. Support commitments apply only where expressly agreed; roadmap items are not a guarantee of future delivery. 4. Ownership and third-party software OdinOS is licensed, not sold as intellectual property. Copyright and branding remain with their respective owners. No right to resell, sublicense, redistribute or modify proprietary OdinOS components or distribute activation keys is granted without separate permission, except where applicable law allows it. Access to source code alone does not grant redistribution rights. Linux, drivers, libraries, browser components and miners retain their own licences and notices, including any open-source, source-code and redistribution rights. These terms do not override those licences or mandatory interoperability, inspection or other statutory rights. 5. Responsible use You control your hardware, network, backups, security, miner packages, pools and wallets. Follow the documented compatibility requirements and test hardware settings carefully. Mining on equipment without permission, unauthorised access, deliberate inventory falsification and bypassing licensed capacity are prohibited. Mining income, profitability and compatibility with every device or third-party service are not guaranteed. Keep credentials private and maintain recoverable backups. Optional services such as DuckDNS are independent services, not a licence requirement. 6. Payments and consumer rights Before sending cryptocurrency, obtain confirmation of the product, plan, update term, total price, payment network and delivery arrangements. The paid offer must identify the supplier and contact details. Use the confirmed network and destination; OdinOS never needs your wallet private key or seed phrase. For plan questions, use the purchase enquiry form; for an existing order, use the contact in its confirmation. Cryptocurrency payment does not remove statutory cancellation, refund or defective-software rights. Where EU/EEA consumer distance-contract rules apply, a 14-day withdrawal right generally applies, subject to the applicable exceptions. Any digital-content exception requires all legally required separate consent, acknowledgement and confirmation. Reading these terms, submitting an enquiry or activating software alone does not waive that right. Applicable withdrawal instructions and any required electronic withdrawal mechanism must be provided for the purchase. There is no blanket “all sales final” rule in these terms. Mandatory consumer rights, required updates and legal remedies always prevail. 7. Licence checks and diagnostics The self-hosted controller keeps farm configuration and ordinary worker telemetry on your infrastructure. Official activation and licence refresh use installation identity, administrator contact and entitlement information. Email recovery uses the verified administrator email and controller address. Support reports are optional and sent when you choose the send action. They may include administrator email, controller URL, version, licence, worker/task state and bounded recent logs with credential redaction. These licence terms do not constitute marketing consent or replace an applicable privacy notice. 8. Warranties and liability To the extent permitted by law and subject to any express contractual promise, the software is provided “as is” and “as available”, without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation, mining rewards or protection from losses caused by third-party services. To the extent permitted by law, liability for indirect or consequential business losses, including lost profits or mining income, is excluded. No exclusion applies to fraud, deliberate misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or any responsibility that law does not permit to be excluded. Consumer conformity guarantees, remedies and other mandatory protections remain unaffected. 9. Termination and changes You may stop using OdinOS at any time. A licence may be terminated for a material breach, subject to applicable law, required notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy it. Valid termination ends the affected proprietary licence rights; independent third-party rights remain. Expiry of an update period alone is not termination. Later website changes do not retrospectively rewrite an existing paid agreement. New terms must be made available before the relevant agreement, with any notice or acceptance required by law. Individually agreed terms prevail over conflicting general commercial terms; mandatory law prevails over both. Applicable law determines any dispute and competent court. Nothing here removes a consumer's mandatory local protections. If a provision cannot lawfully apply, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted.
